How to tell us a figure is wrong, and what happens then. An earlier reading is never deleted, so our mistakes stay visible with their dates.

01
How to report an error
Write to corrections@treatmentregistry.com with the entry number, which looks like TR-0042 and appears at the top of every entry, and the page where the correct figure is visible to a reader.
Anyone can report one. You do not have to work for the company, and we do not ask who you are.
02
What we can and cannot act on
We can record a figure a reader can check for themselves. Point us at a page where the current price is visible, or an intake we can walk, and we will re-read it.
We cannot record a price that exists only in an email to us, because our readers cannot check it and the whole record rests on their being able to. A company that wants a different figure published needs to publish it.
03
A correction is a new reading, not a silent edit
When we get something wrong we add a new dated observation with the corrected figure. The earlier reading stays published, with the date we were wrong attached to it.
This is deliberate and it is enforced in the build: observations are append-only, and a change that would delete or alter one fails and cannot ship. A register that quietly rewrites its own past is not a record of anything.
04
Corrections appear in the change log
A corrected price produces a dated row on the change log like any other change, and the entry’s own history shows both readings. There is no separate quiet channel for our mistakes.
05
A correction and an update are different things
If a company raised its price, that is an update: the record was right and the market moved. If we misread a page, that is a correction: the market did not move and we were wrong. Both become new observations, and the change log distinguishes them by what actually changed.
06
If you run one of these companies
Your entry is recorded from your own published pages. You do not get to preview it, approve it, or have it removed, and paying us changes none of that.
What you can do is point us at a page. If your published price has changed, send the URL and we will re-read it on the next pass or sooner. If we have attributed something to you that is not yours, tell us and we will correct it the same way.
07
Re-verification cadence
Every entry is re-read monthly whether or not anyone reports a problem. Entries older than 45 days are listed publicly as overdue on the status page, including when that is embarrassing for us.
