Longer pieces on how this market prices itself. Where the answers take one question and count, these take an argument and work it through. Every figure in them is computed from the 858 entries when the page is built, so nothing in the prose can drift from the data underneath it.

- How to read a GLP-1 price
The monthly figure a company puts on its homepage is rarely the amount that leaves your account in the first month. Across the 831 entries where both numbers could be computed, 169 charge more up front than the rate they advertise. The gap is usually structural rather than sly, and it sits in four predictable places.
- Compounded or brand: what the difference costs
Across 699 programs publishing a cash price, the median compounded program asks $199 a month and the median brand program $371.50 — a difference of $173. The gap is real, and it is not the whole story: the two are different products, bought under different rules.
- The programs that never name the molecule
72 programs in this register, from 64 companies, advertise a GLP-1 and a monthly figure without saying which medicine you would be taking. They ask a median of $153 against $199 for programs that do name it. A price you cannot attach to a molecule is a price you cannot compare.
- What you are charged on the day you sign up
47 of the 831 priced programs here lead with a monthly figure and take the whole term at once. The median advertised rate among them is $146 a month; the median amount charged that day is $400. The saving is real and so is the bill.
