- 1. EllieMD has moved its price behind the door it used to sit in front of. On 2 September 2026 the figures appeared at the second step of its sign-up, before any medical question. On 3 September the same “GET STARTED” control leads straight to an account-registration screen headed “Account Registration — HELLO AND WELCOME TO ELLIE!”, and the weight-loss page carries no figure at all: it describes a 12-week supply eight times over without pricing it. The $299 a month and $897 total recorded in the note above were read on the earlier walk and are left as a note rather than a price, because they cannot be re-read now without creating an account.

- 2. EllieMD shows its price before asking a single medical question. In a first-hand walk-through with a research identity, price appeared at step two, before any medical question. The walk stopped at the account-creation dialog that gates the medical questionnaire; registration did not proceed. Screenshots on file.

- 3. EllieMD's selection screen prices its two GLP-1 formulas identically, and the price shifts on the oral-drops route. The screen reads: "STEP 2 · What would you like as your base formula? · 12-week supply. Includes: Provider care, 2-day shipping, and all materials (nausea meds & labs)." then "GLP-1/GIP · Appetite Regulation · Dual Pathway · Most Popular · $299/mo ($897 total)" and "GLP-1 · Satiety Support · Single Pathway · $299/mo ($897 total)". On the oral drops route the same screen reads "GLP-1/GIP · $379/mo ($1,137 total)" and "GLP-1 · $299/mo".
